PHYSICS DAY AT GREAT AMERICA WEB PAGE: A web site with a wealth of information on Physics/Science/Math Days. The web site contains sample data, curricular activities and many links to other Amusement Park Physics web sites.

Compadre: This online digital library contains many resources of use to teachers and students. Go to www.compadre.org and type "Amusement Park" in the search box. Several Java simulations that allow interactive study of rides are included.

PSM Days CD-ROM: This CD-ROM has been produced by the teacher steering committee for Physics, Science & Math Days and is distributed to teachers who sign up to bring their classes to Great America. The CD contains an electronic copy of the traditional printed packet of materials distributed by Great America. Many park and ride graphics, the entire web site, and other resources are included on the CD.

PASCO Scientific Company and Sargent-Welch both have kits of hand accelerometers that can be purchased for use by your students. For convenience, kit numbers and approximate prices are given here along with contact information for the companies. In addition, the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and Vernier Software have books that contain many useful labs and other activities.
