Procedures/Rules
The winners have been
declared Club Champions based on the total of the best
four net scores relative to par during Foon Hay
tournaments as published on the Foon Hay web site. If a
golfer plays less than four rounds, they are not
eligible to become Club Champion.
February tournament
(Shoreline) was a rainout. The October tournament at
Rancho Solano was cancelled due to the unhealthy air
coming from the fires in Napa. There were still 9
openings to get the four scores needed.
Championship flights were
fixed for the year in August. As handicaps go up and
down during the year, this is the best appraisal of
players' abilities. Approximately half of the men and
half of the ladies will be declared A-flight and the
other half will be B-flight.
Starting in August, if
there were not enough tournaments left to obtain a
qualifying total, the golfer's name was dropped from the
listing.
