Welcome
On behalf of myself and my fellow officers, welcome to the 2024 version of Foon Hay. I've enjoyed playing alongside this group of competitors, and look forward to the schedule of tournaments and courses we'll be playing in the coming year. If you're a senior and enjoy golf even half as much as we do, consider coming out and giving us a try. Fran Gin
President April Tournament Foon Hay played Canyon Lakes We used the Cha Cha Cha format for the five teams who competed. Beautiful day for golf. Tough course. Missed seeing the rest of you out there.  May TournamentFoon Hay is going to play San Jose Muni on May 14. One of the flattest courses in the area, and one that most of us have played numerous times. Get signed up early so you won't be left out. Deadline: May 1. iGolfClubs The Association of International Golf Clubs, "igolfclubs" for short, brings together about 20 golf clubs from mainly the west coast plus Hawaii. The organization is sponsoring three tournaments during 2025. Foon Hay members are encouraged to watch their email for information on the iGolfClubs tournaments. The first event in 2025 will be a 6-day trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. Three days of golf are included. Looks like a great way to get away April 16-21. Los Angeles Chinese Golf Club (LACGC) will be hosting an iGolfClubs tournament Memorial Day Weekend. Information has been posted on the iGolfClubs website. Over the Labour Day Weekend, the Victoria Chinese Golf Club (VCGC) will be hosting a tournament for iGolfClubs also called the InterCity Tournament as it rotates between Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. Membership includes NCGA dues

outings. The club currently has openings for
senior golfers as new members. Click here to

with your check. New members are required to
play at least once with the club to see if
there's a good fit both for you and the club
members.
