We generally have almost perfect weather here in Northern California. But every now and then things sneak in like a good soaking rain. Here is how to handle things if rain is going to happen on a day that RIGG plays: If there is substantial rain, the scheduler, in consultation with the course and with a board member, can announce a cancellation the night before the scheduled round. If the conditions for play are uncertain, every member must contact the course to determine the extent of the rain, whether cart paths are mandatory, or associated questions. He/she will then determine whether they wish to play or opt out and let the course know. The scheduler will include this reminder on the schedule sheet if weather is imminent. The scheduler shall notify the course if a cancellation is issued. Posted 3/22/18
